FAQ

Ordering and specification questions

Practical answers for buyers comparing mounted points, grinding wheels, samples, custom specifications and quote requirements.

What details should I send for a quote?
Please share the product name or shape code, dimensions, abrasive grain, grit, grade or bond if known, shank size, required quantity, work material and machine RPM. If you are unsure, describe the application and we can help narrow the specification.
Can you help select the right mounted point or grinding wheel?
Yes. Selection depends on material, stock removal, surface finish, access area, machine speed and whether the job is rough grinding or finishing. Share your current issue, drawing or sample requirement and we will suggest a practical starting specification.
Do you make custom shapes and sizes?
Custom and non-standard specifications can be discussed. Feasibility, minimum quantity and lead time depend on the abrasive shape, tooling, dimensions, bond, packing quantity and repeat-order potential.
What is the minimum order quantity?
MOQ is confirmed during quotation. Standard catalog items may be available in smaller quantities, while custom shapes, special bonds and made-to-order sizes usually need a minimum production quantity.
Do you offer samples before bulk orders?
Sample or trial quantities can be discussed for suitable products. Availability, sample cost and dispatch time depend on whether the item is standard stock or a custom specification.
What is the typical lead time?
Lead time depends on product availability, quantity and whether the specification needs custom production. We confirm dispatch timing with the quotation instead of giving one generic timeline for every abrasive product.
Which abrasive materials are available?
Common options in the catalog include Aluminum Oxide, White Aluminum Oxide, Pink Aluminum Oxide, Silicon Carbide and Zirconia on selected products. Final grain selection should match the work material and finish requirement.
Which grit range should I choose?
Coarser grits are used for faster stock removal, while finer grits support finishing and blending. Frequently requested industrial grits include 36, 46, 60, 80, 120 and 180, with finer grits available on selected mounted points.
What bond types are listed?
The current product data includes vitrified mounted points and selected resinoid or reinforced grinding wheel references. The right bond depends on speed, heat, material, wheel geometry and removal rate.
Can you provide documentation?
Quotation details, specification notes, safety guidance, packing information and batch references can be provided where applicable. If your company needs a specific certificate or format, mention it in the RFQ.
Do you support export or outstation orders?
Outstation and export enquiries can be discussed case by case. Packing, documentation, freight mode and payment terms are confirmed after reviewing the buyer requirement and destination.
How do I contact Sadhvi Udyog quickly?
Use the quote form or email info@sadhviudyog.com. Include product details, material, machine RPM and quantity for a faster response.
Which mounted points are used for die and mold finishing?
Die and mold work usually uses mounted points selected by access, radius, cavity profile, grit and finish target. A-series, B-series and W-series references can be discussed for cavity finishing, contour blending, slot cleanup and internal touch-up work.
Which abrasives are suitable for foundry fettling and fabrication?
Foundry and fabrication work often needs larger mounted points, depressed-centre wheels, cut-off wheels or bench grinding wheels for casting flash, weld dressing, burr removal and edge preparation. The final choice depends on material, stock removal and grinder RPM.
Can you support repeat supply for auto component manufacturers?
Yes. Auto component buyers can share the approved abrasive reference, component material, burr location, monthly quantity and packing preference. We can quote mounted points and grinding wheels with stable specification notes for repeat purchasing.
Do grinding wheels and mounted points have to be confirmed against machine RPM?
Yes. The quoted product marking, maximum operating speed, shank overhang, wheel bore, machine guard and operating setup should be checked before use. Catalogue dimensions are enquiry references, not a substitute for final safety confirmation.
